Bishnupuri Silk is a raw form of pure mulberry silk known for its soft, lightweight and smooth texture. They are originally from Bishnupur, a town in West Bengal, India. They come in vibrant colors. This very pretty blue and green Bishnupuri silk saree has hand-painted Buddha on the pallu. The borders feature painted small hand-painted Lotus pods. The saree is soft and very lightweight and easy to drape. It comes with an unstitched plain green blouse piece. Fall and Pico - Done Blouse - Unstitched. Silk mark Certified. Please note: Color may vary slightly from the picture. Thread pulls, knots and few thread gaps are common in this type of saree and is not a defect. Paint bleeds and minor paint stains are very common due to the hand painted nature of the saree and is not a defect.
