Ukrainian woman poster meant to symbolize Ukraine mourning the innocent lives lost because of the Russian aggression. Created in the colors of the Ukrainian flag (blue and yellow). In the artwork the woman is wearing a traditional Ukrainian head dress made out of poppies. The original art was created by me (Natasha Sazonova) as a response to the Bucha massacre. As a Ukrainian American who spend her childhood in Ukraine I couldn't fathom that something like that could ever happen in the 21st century and found a way to express my pain on canvas. In my painting I depicted a young woman with her eyes closed. Mourning all the lives lost, but still defiant. Ukrainian woman art is printed on the premium matte posters.
