Tiffany & Co. sterling silver child mug, gilt inside, in pattern number 17139 from 1908, showcasing a mother and child, a mouse running up a clock as well as other beautiful motifs. It measures 3 1/2'' in height by 2 7/8'' in diameter at the top (3 7/8'' with the handle) and bears hallmarks as shown.  The legendary Tiffany brand was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young in Connecticut as a "stationery and fancy goods emporium," with the help of Charles Tiffany's father who financed the store for only $1,000 with profits from a cotton mill.
