The Giant is the last metal-shaping machine from that first generation of heavy steel forging equipment in America. in 2019 the Museum learned that after over a century of service and a decade-plus of display, The Giant needed to move to make way for a hotel expansion. He could leave in little pieces to be melted down; toppled and buried; or related to the Museum and preserved. Read on to see what happens to The Giant!!
