Ansel Easton Adams is the most well-known national park photographer of all time. His work is still iconic today and his images continue to command record fees at auctions. In 1968, some of his finest national park images were featured on a series of posters created by the Department of the Interior and National Park Service. Yosemite National Park, located in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains, is a renowned natural treasure. Its iconic granite cliffs, towering waterfalls, ancient sequoia groves, and diverse wildlife captivate visitors. Activities include hiking, rock climbing, and experiencing the park's breathtaking beauty. One of the most fascinating things about these posters is the logo. The intertwined triangles and 3 dots served as the official logo of the National Park Service from 1966-1969, although it was not popular with visitors and the arrowhead returned.
