Wahpe Hinsma translates to "furry leaf" which is the name for Mullein—a large, stalky plant that grows scattered along the Great Plains. It's traditionally used for a variety of ailments—mainly for relieving symptoms of colds, flus, and other respiratory infections. It's a natural expectorant which allows for relief and clearing of congestion and blocked sinuses. Mullein is also traditionally used for its effective analgesic (pain relieving) and anti-inflammatory properties.
