Yarrow 'Moonshine'

Achillea millefolium 'Moonshine' One charming hybrid is the moonshine yarrow (A. clypeolata x A. 'Taygetea'), which boasts fern-like, aromatic, silver to gray-green foliage. It forms a compact clump with deeply dissected leaves, presenting an upright and cheerful appearance. In summer, you can enjoy the bright lemon-yellow flowers that bloom in dense, flattened clusters,  reaching 2-3" across on sturdy, erect stems that stand at about 2' tall. Famous for its ability to stop bleeding and heal wounds.  To provide the best environment for this gem, aim for dry to medium moisture, well-drained soil and plenty of sunshine. It thrives in average garden soils and shows resilience in poorer soils as long as the drainage is good. Just keep it away from heavy clay and overly rich, moist soils.
