Yarrow 'Rose'
Achillea millefolium 'New Vintage Rose' Achillea millefolium New Vintage Rose brings a burst of joy to your garden with its gorgeous clusters of rose-pink flowers, each adorned with lovely cream centers, blooming from early summer all the way through autumn. Its upright, branching stems are beautifully complemented by fern-like foliage, and this wonderful cultivar keeps impressively re-flowering all season long. Perfect for borders and containers, and it shines as a cut flower in bouquets or dried arrangements. Thrives in full sun, but can adapt to quite a bit of shade in Texas. Best grown in lean, dry to medium, well-drained sandy loams. Plants do well in average garden soils and tolerate poor soils as long as drainage is good. Plants also tolerate hot, humid summers and drought. Yarrow's flowers stems often are floppy when planted in soils that are too moist and rich, especially in hot climates. Deadhead regularly to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage new blooms. Plants
