Magdalena Big Cheese

Cucurbita moschata.  From Sonora Mexico, this is one of the oldest types of cultivated squash. Excellent producer of large, light orange, ribbed fruits with a flattened pumpkin shape (like a wheel of cheese) and wonderfully sweet, bright orange flesh. A staff and volunteer favorite!
