Citrulus lanatus. Round, pale green fruits with slight striping. Mostly round, but some oblong shapes may appear. Pale pink to red flesh. From the Shiprock area. Stores well into the winter months if unbruised, which is why it's called a winter watermelon. From our Seed Bank Collection Origin: high desert, around 5000 ft. Approx. 1.5g/15 seeds per packet.
