Colorado Red

Phaseolus vulgaris. An early and productive variety!  Beautiful large maroon-red beans, also called kidney beans but not quite the same shape or as large as kidney beans. Purchased back in 1985 from Dove Creek, a premier grower of bean varieties in southern Colorado.  This region is known for agriculture, especially growing beans. Origin: high desert, about 7700' elevation Bushy plants with a few half runners;  could be grown with or without support Approx. 17g/50 seeds per packet. Limit 3 packets.
