Rubber Knee Pad

Rubber Knee Pads are made from ¼ inch thick recycled rubber and provide a cushioned platform for leg knapping--protecting knee and clothing. Rubber leg pads are a modern equivalent of traditional leather pads. When using cow leather, most knappers need two layers to avoid a sore leg after a day of knapping. Only one layer is usually needed when using these rubber pads.  Tip: layering a rubber pad underneath a leather pad offers the best of both materials and affords more versatility than one pad alone. 2 rubber pads offer good protection, too.
