Nature Immersion: Experiential Learning in the Outdoors - Level 1

Immerse yourself in the ancient art of understanding nature through knowledge-based and hands-on learning. Nature Immersion is not just a class—it's a weekend-long experience designed to deepen your connection to the natural world and enhance your skills in observation, identification, and teaching. This isn’t about lectures. Expect to spend your time outdoors, engaging with the environment alongside expert instructors Eric Comley and Craig Caudill, both Certified University of Kentucky Master Naturalists (UKMN) and program instructors. You’ll also benefit from the collective knowledge of UK Master Naturalist graduates who frequently participate in this class. Our two-fold mission is to: Empower you to see, understand, and experience more of the natural world. Equip you with methods and materials to continue learning independently and teach others.
