Italian Line - Two unused portrait postcards of the ANDREA DORIA and CRISTOFORO COLOMBO, the type distributed by the Italian Line in onboard writing rooms. The postcard at top measures 3.25" by 5.5" while the lower card is 4" by 6". On back is the name of both ships but notice how on the top card ANDREA DORIA info has been crossed off in black ink. The Italian Line did the work. I imagine a room full of underlings tasked with the job of hiding the name of the lost ship on thousands of already-printed postcards. Very good condition.
