DEL NORTE, DEL SUD & DEL MAR - Deluxe South America brochure w/ ship photos

Delta Line:  A deluxe, thirty-six page South America destination brochure for the DEL NORTE, DEL SUD, and DEL MAR.  Although undated, it is from the late 1950s. What languid cities and sleepy ports are shown!  Hardly a traffic jam or a packed beach to be seen.  Showcased are Delta Line's major South American destinations - Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and smaller ports in-between.   A photo from Santos showing a big old American car and a VW Beetle brought back memories.  When we lived in Rio, Mom always wanted to hail those slow and softly-sprung American-made taxis while I always lobbied for the Beetles.  Those worn-out Yank Tanks couldn't get out of their own way while the V-Dubs would race down Avenida Infante Dom Henrique like hellcats on fire.  After a couple of those experiences, Mom always won.
