Dendrobates leucomelas “Chocolate”

These Leucomelas are similar in pattern to the Standard/Nominant locale of Dendrobates leucomelas. However the “Chocolate” locale has a genetic variation which causes them to have less pigmentation. This causes the normally black markings to instead appear a “Chocolate” brown color. Through selective breeding to reinforce these genetics the trait has been fixed in this population, there you can expect them to breed true with all offspring appearing like their parents.
