The GugimFolio consists of a replaceable notebook and has a tuck spot for tickets, memos, and stickers. Any replacement A5 or A6 size notebook can fit in the unique cover. Although GugimFolio is defined as a notebook, it’s actually a creative space for writing, drawing, painting and more. GugimFolio is a Hanji notebook organizer made with wrinkled paper called Gugim Hanji produced by artisans in Jeonju, located in western South Korea. Leather-like Gugim Hanji, which is even more durable than original Hanji, strengthens the GugimFoilo cover without laminating paper. Each folio cover is meticulously handcrafted and hand-painted with the spirit of art at HANADURI studio. Gugim is a Korean traditional technique of crumpling paper by hand using two layers of wet Hanji.
