Class - Knit Your First Sweater

Have you ever wanted to knit a sweater but felt overwhelmed? Let's do it together! In this class, you'll learn how to knit a sweater you'll love to wear. We'll walk step-by-step through all the essential skills, from before you ever cast-on to beyond the bind-off (and everything in between). Join us and start building your handmade wardrobe! We’ll be knitting the Flax Worsted sweater by Tin Can Knits. We recommend using Berroco Vintage yarn for this project (sold in store with a class discount). We'll learn: Basics of sweater construction and reading the pattern Choosing your size and understanding ease Fiber choices and gauge swatches in sweater-making Shaping the collar and yoke with increases and short rows Putting sleeves on hold and picking up stitches Finishing and blocking for a perfect fit and finish Where: Needles & Hooks When: 3 sessions (with bonus support sessions in the last half of April as needed) Sunday, March 29th, 3:00-4:30 pm Sunday, April 12t
