Deep below the surface, in caverns old and forgotten by time, lies the patient streams of magma moving, rolling, and broiling towards the world above. Ka’Ra, a young warlock of this realm used all their might to harness a fraction of the power and hold it in a small gem in an attempt to gain favor with their patron. Word reached the ear of a noble in the realm above, and before Ka’Ra could present their gift to their deity… it was stolen, and in the surprise attack, they lost their life. The gem was delivered, but at a terrible cost. It was a cool clear day when they felt it; the soft rumble beneath their feet as the beautiful blue sky slowly turned an ominous grey. Then they heard it… an explosion in the distance followed by torrents of molten rivers coursing down the mountainside.
