More like half Classics Illustrated style with original text of novel. Since a picture is thought to be worth a thousand words this was a way to "digest" the novel in an, um, novel way. Plus the comic book pages would make these classics more interesting and accessable to "young people" who would normally gravitate away from such heady literature. Interesting concept though not exactly successful since the comic book art is at best competent and not very exhilarating. With "study guide" & questions throughout. Used, VERY GOOD or FINE, Some of the small usual softness to corners, edges from being read, handled and stored.
