Western Missoula Sunrise

Driving down a dirt road outside of Missoula, Montana on a fall morning I passed through an area of fog. As I emerged from the fog, I noticed a small barn in a field on the left side of the road. I stopped to photograph the small barn and when walking up the road for a different angle noticed an area by a gate where you could look down the length of the fence. As I composed this image, the early morning light started to glow as it passed through the fog providing the magically light found in this image. Prior to leaving Missoula I would visit the spot a handful of times but was never able to recreate this morning.
