Handpainted Tibetan Snow Lion Wooden Box- Extra Large

This beautifully crafted wooden box features intricate hand-painted Tibetan designs. One side shows a mythological snow lion against mountains, while another has a decorative motif framed in gold. The box, with its earthy tones and vibrant artwork, has a hinged lid with a golden design and a metal latch, exemplifying fine Tibetan craftsmanship. In Tibetan Buddhism, the snow lion symbolizes strength, fearlessness, and joy, representing the triumph of wisdom and compassion over ignorance and suffering. These beautiful large Tibetan boxes are hand crafted by one of the Newari Communities of Bhaktapur Nepal, The Prajapatis. After the wooden box is complete, it is then hand painted by the Buddhist community of Tamangs in Kathmandu Valley. It takes upto 3 days to complete one box.
