Did you know that there are two types of Northern Flickers? Although the Red-Shafted Northern Flicker and the Yellow-Shafted Northern Flicker were considered separate species, they intermix so much that they're thought of as one and the same now! The Northern Flicker was established as Alabama's state bird in 1927. This Northern Flicker Alabama State Bird Ornament is made from Black Cherry wood grown and milled in the USA! The ornament is finished with a non-toxic food-safe oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood. Ornament comes tied with a hanging ribbon and bow (also made in the USA). Approximate dimensions: 5" x 2" x 3/16" Made in Wisconsin by Nestled Pines Woodworking. USA grown hardwoods are a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable resource.
