We've all seen the biohazard symbol - but do you know where it comes from? The symbol was created by Charles Baldwin in 1966. He realized that there were multiple different biohazard symbols while working for the Dow Chemical Company, and set out to create just one - something "memorable, but meaningless" so that they could educate everyone on what it meant.  This biohazard key chain clip is made from Black Cherry wood grown and milled in the USA! The ornament is finished with a non-toxic food-safe oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood. Approximate dimensions: 2" x 2" x 3/16" Made in Wisconsin by Nestled Pines Woodworking. USA grown hardwoods are a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable resource.
