Miss Marigold, the preschool teacher, has asked her students (including Blue) to explore five places in their neighborhood and return with an item from each. Children can visit a bakery, library, grocery store, music store, and the popular Present Store to play activities with Blue and earn the items on their list from Miss Marigold. Various skills including shape, color, and number recognition as well as spatial releation and size differentiation are emphasized in the activities. At the bakery, children will match cookies and other baked goods by shape and color. At the library, children help put away books
