Players try to score points by connecting lettered titles, randomly placed on the playfield, to form words. If no words can be created, the tiles can be scrambled for a new layout. However, scrambling the tiles too often will create fire tiles that will burn down the library should they reach bottom. Once a word has been submitted, Lex the bookworm will eat the word and dole out fresh letters to replace the missing ones.
