As the game starts, the camera takes in the entire stadium from the top rafters, then moves to focus on the scoreboard, then on the crowd far below, and finally on the players themselves, in a line at center ice, showing appropriate reverence as the last few notes of "Oh! Canada" echo through the arena. The team continues to stand, hands on their hearts, as the end of their national anthem is drowned out by enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
