The premise is realistic (almost too realistic actually) -- Boris Yeltsin dies in 1998 and a major power struggle ensues for control of Mother Russia. The factions include Reformers (and former Yeltsin supporters), Ultra-Nationalists, the KGB, the Military, Separatists, and the Russian Mafia. Even the Church and Communists are trying to grab their own piece of Russia. The prize is control of the one of the largest former super-powers in the world and everything that goes with it!
