Echinacea 'Green Twister' - Coneflower

This is one cool looking echinacea. Lime green buds emerge catching the light with a neon glow above darker green foliage. Within a few days, bright pink centers radiate out from the disk, putting a spin on the traditional coneflower look. This nativar flowers in late summer and is a huge hit with butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. At 2 to 3 ft. in height it makes a great mid to back planting in a bed or an eye catching bouquet when purples or pinks are involved. With it's height, green twister can also stand alone in a naturalized area.
