Island Breeze Hosta

'Island Breeze' is a bright hosta with impressively wide variegation and red petioles. With hostas, it is easy to get overwhelmed with the number of choices and that is why we try to offer a limited number iconic/disease resistant hostas for certain tasks in the garden. We selected 'Island Breeze' for its bright uniform variegation and improvements on the classic 'Paradise Island' that include stronger margins and deeper red petioles. We recommend using it as a single plant to bring texture to an area of lowering mounding flowers, or in a grouping to provide uniform shrub-like texture to a shaded area, along a walkway or hardscape.
