Book Discussion +/or Crafting Event / Book Club Experience for The Maid - Starting at $10!

Join us for a Readers + Makers Book Club Discussion &/or Crafting Event on Sunday, July 16th, starting at 2:00 pm! This adventure features The Maid by Nita Prose, BUT PRE-READING IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT… Local Chicago Fiber Artist Denise Handwerker will teach a class on how to make a macrame bookmark from 2-3 PM in Chicago Artisan Lab's NEW SPACE down the block from our Booktique (right before our book discussion in our New Book Joy Reading Lounge from 3-4 pm)! You'll get to play with color, learn a simple macrame knot, and make a tassel or two (inspired by the intricate handwork shown by Molly, the main character from the featured story). No special skills or tools needed.
