Lindsey Optics Brilliant² Tray Mount Studio Full Field Close-Up Lens Diopter

$610.00

The new Studio version Tray Mount Close-Up lenses have a knurled stainless steel post mounted on the handle to improve handling in studio matte boxes.  They also fit other rod mounted and lightweight clip-on matte boxes. A close-up lens with a strength of +3 diopter is used to focus on an extremely small object field, when the cine lens being used won't focus that closely.  To create the Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens series we've mounted our 138mm Close-Up Lenses (Diopters) in a 4"x5.65" matte box tray. These large 138mm round lenses provide a 5.1" diameter clear aperture in the tray, allowing use with large lenses and wide angle lenses. All of lenses have a broadband multi-layer anti-reflection coating (MC Coating).  The unique tray mount design allows quick and easy changes of close-up lenses in both clip-on and rod mount matte boxes. They are available in 5 strengths:  +1/4, +1/2, +1, +2  and +3 Diopter The +1/4, +1/2 and +1 fit in one slot.  The +2 uses 2 slots and the +3 uses 3 slots in the matte box. The Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lenses (diopters) fit in Arri™, Bright Tangerine™, Chrosziel™, Vocas™ and other professional 4x5.65 cine matte boxes. They do not work with RedRock Micro™ matte boxes.   The 4"x5.65" +1/4 Diopter Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens fits directly into 4"x5.65" matte boxes, occupying 1 slot in the matte box.  The 4"x5.65" +1/2 Diopter Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens fits directly into 4"x5.65" matte boxes, occupying 1 slot in the matte box. The 4"x5.65" +1 Diopter Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens fits directly into 4"x5.65" matte boxes, occupying 1 slot in the matte box.  The 4"x5.65" +2 Diopter Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens fits directly into 4"x5.65" matte boxes, occupying 2 slots in the matte box. The 4"x5.65" +3 Diopter Brilliant² Tray Mount Close-Up Lens fits directly into 4"x5.65" matte boxes, occupying 3 slots in the matte box.
