Bio Rebecca Adamson, a Cherokee, President and Founder of the First Nations Development Institute has worked as an advocate of local tribal issues for over 24 years and has been a groundbreaking leader in fostering culturally appropriate, values-driven investment and development in US first nations communities. She currently serves on the Presidentís Council on Sustainable evelopment/Sustainable Communities Task Force and has served as an advisor to the United Nations on Rural Development and International Indigenous Rights.
