In this process, the blade surface is transformed into a black oxide layer, making it distinct from a traditional coating. The extra-high ground blade has jimpings on both sides, emphasizing its exclusive character. Thanks to its balanced weight, the blade glides smoothly and cleanly over the skin. The hilt, crafted from exotic Amboina wood, stands out with its striking grain reminiscent of wild carbon fiber. Native to Southeast Asia, Amboina’s unique tuber-like root growths give each razor an unmistakable pattern. Stabilization with heated epoxy resin enhances the wood’s smooth surface and deep black tones, while the bulbous handle shape contrasts beautifully with the blade’s straight edge.
