The Boker headquarters in Solingen is located near Castle Burg an der Wupper, a landmark of the Bergisches Land region and one of the largest reconstructed castles in North Rhine-Westphalia. The history of Castle Burg is inseparably tied to the Duchy of Berg and the Counts von Berg (Haus Berg 1068–1225). Boker has dedicated a series of straight razors to the three Counts von Berg, symbolizing their influence and legacy with impressive 24-carat gold ornamentation. The last Count von Berg, Engelbert II, also served as Archbishop of Cologne. After his murder, the House of Berg transitioned into the House of Limburg. This splendid 7/8" straight razor depicts Engelbert II as Archbishop of Cologne. The graded head (ground until it produces the right sound), finest Solingen steel blade, and curved spine combined with a stag horn handle highlight its elegance and exceptional quality. The blade is ground extra hollow with ridge. Includes a certificate of authenticity and a refined presentation
