Measures approx: 1 inchStone Origin: India Spiralite Gem Shells are an agatized spiral seashell fossils discovered in central India, which was once under a prehistoric sea, Tethys. They are from a rare left-hand coil variety of gastropod that lived 50 to 100 million years ago. Hindu, Buddhist, and Tibetan cultures revere these left-hand coil gastropods for their metaphysical powers. Metaphysically, these stones are about the preservation of life which is demonstrated in their formation from ancient shells to their new incarnation as agate and druzy quartz crystals.
