Henty places Cuthbert at many pivotal events during the crusade giving the reader a first hand account of the action. As always, Henty does an excellent job of blending fiction with historical facts giving the reader a great story and a better understanding of medieval history. First published in 1882, this edition is derived from the book published in 1899 with 6 black & white illustrations. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
