The Violet Fairy Book

Fairy Tales A selection of fairy tales collected and edited by Scottish author Andrew Lang and his wife, Leonora Blanche Lang. The book is the seventh volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as The Fairy of the Dawn, The Grateful Prince, and The Three Princes and their Beasts, as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages. First published in 1901, this edition is derived from the  original book with 59 black and white illustrations and 8 color illustrations by H. J.  Ford. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
