Faster cooking and keeps the splash down. Perfect for baking bread. This lid is designed for our cookware. Because all our cookware is hand made, there is some variation in how the lid fits (above or below the rivets). Will not create a tight seal, but works fantastically for most cooking applications. ***Need a lid for a Newquist skillet/roaster already in your possession?
