Waggy Front Dana 44 - Truss Only

Jeep TJ/XJ Waggy Front 44 Swap Kit/Truss --   Looking for a jeep width axle to swap into your TJ/XJ? The 1980-1981 and 1985-91 Jeep Wagoneer front Dana 44 is a popular option due to it’s width, driverside drop, factory disc brakes, many steering options, available locking hub options, and increased strength over the Dana 30 found in most TJs/XJs.  A summary of the install guide for our complete swap kits can be found here -- however please note this listing is for the TRUSS only.   We don’t recommend using 1982-1984 Axle housings unless you can confirm they are *not* equipped with the Vacuum Disconnect module. Welding should be done by a competent welder/shop. Some grinding may be required for best fit.
