MTS3-DFS set includes the MTS3 with the DFS200 force gauge.  The MTS3 is a compression test stand designed for testing the hardness or breaking force of small objects such as medicine tablets, food grains, fodder, pellets, and similar items.  The test stand works by turning the thumb wheel to lift the round compression plate until the test specimen breaks.  The force gauge has to be set to peak compression mode.  The device will hold the peak or break force until this test value is saved or written down.  The peak reading will continue to display until the reset button is pressed.
