Small resin particles are bonded to the down feathers, and they make a highly water-repellent wall to protect water from invading the feathers.The new light and compact down feathers are moisture permeable, but doesn't absorb water. Even if the sleeping bag gets wet from the rain, snow or condensation, it will keep you nice and warm.The resiliency of the feathers allows for the bag to expand quickly, to keep you warm in seconds.
