Art Deco Whiting & Davis Dresden Mesh Purse

This is a very nice Art Deco Era Whiting and Davis flapper style handbag. The body of the bag is made of soldered steel mesh, decorated in the Dresden style with pink, blue, green, and purple enamel. The inside of the clasp is stamped 'Whiting and Davis'.   The purse is in good vintage condition for its age and use.  The body of the purse measures 5.8" from the top of the clasp to the base of the mesh.  The clasp/lip of the purse measures 4" across.  The chain measures 12" in total length.
