A hand-thrown bubble mug and saucer, with opal blue glaze and a porcelain clay body; fired in a gas reduction kiln to vitrification. With the ever-changing atmosphere of the gas kiln, the same exact glaze applied in the same way can produce a variety of different results, and that’s what we have here! While still being the same aesthetic, I love that every single one of these mugs is unique and has their own personality. These are one-of-a-kind and none will be identical to another. These pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, but for the longevity of the dish, it is better to hand-wash. Each piece is fully vitrified, which means they are sturdy and durable, but please handle with care, as all ceramics are breakable.
