Asparagus UC 157 F2, released by UC Davis is the second generation of UC157 developed by Frank Takatori and Frank Southers at the University of California at Riverside in 1978. History: A member of the lily family, it is native to Western Europe where it is found growing on the shorelines and river banks and on the steppes of Russia.
