Open pollinated. 58 days. Spacemaster Cucumber is suitable for containers, small gardens and raised beds. Compact vigourous, plants, 24” diameter, produce abundant dark green, smooth, 7"-8" slicing cucumbers. Maintain production by picking promptly and not allowing fruits to develop seeds. Gynoecious, mostly female flowers, grow alongside another variety for best yields. Bitter free, resistant to Cucumber Mosaic Virus, scab, downy mildew and Powdery mildew. Planting Directions: Sow seed in spring after all danger of frost is past and the soil temperature is between 60° to 95°. Plant seed 1/2” to 1” deep in hills of 4-6 seeds spaced 2-3’ apart.
