Guitar Pick Stud Earrings Handmade from Sterling Silver with Music Notes

These guitar pick stud earrings were handmade and feature a real guitar pick shape with a brushed patina and music notes. The guitar pick shapes were sawed by hand from 20 gauge sterling silver using a jewelry saw, stamped with music notes, and hammered in a dapping block to create the curvature which transforms light into a natural highlights and shadows, while also adding character and dimension to the earrings. I soldered the finished picks to sterling silver hypoallergenic studs with an acetylene torch and treated the surface with a patina. Using a wire brush, I removed some of the surface patina for an aged burnished look, but left the music notes dark for maximum contrast. These guitar pick stud earrings measure 8 mm long by 6 mm wide and are soldered to hypoallergenic sterling silver studs that are certified to not contain toxins like lead or nickel.
