The next release for OZ Family Cigars will come from Nicaragua American Cigars S.A., the first time the company is working with that factory. Karatoba will be the company’s fourth regular production line. As he did for the company’s second release, Tim Ozgener—the company’s founder—combined two different words for the cigar’s name. Kara is the Turkish word for black or dark, while Toba refers to Indonesia’s Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. The latter loosely ties into the cigar’s wrapper: a Sumatra-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador. It covers a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It will be offered in four vitolas, ALL Boxes are 21 count: Karatoba Robusto (5 x 52)  Karatoba Robusto Extra (5 1/2 x 55) Karatoba Gordo (6 x 60)  Karatoba Toro (6 1/2 x 50) “The cigar opens big, and evolves into a rich, lush profile, that I can only describe as having the essence of a hearty, well-seasoned bolognese sauce, with a maple-syrup finish,” said
