"C Script" 46" x 56"

The painting is a series of markings inspired by Picasso's cubist movement. The artist is experimenting with extreme cubist shapes to create a new and original cubist language or "scripture"...hidden in the symbols are angled faces/hands/body parts etc....the x on the eyes in the faces symbolizes the death of old cubism where faces still had curved features (such as the eyes) and more human-like qualities.
