The Chidori Band was formed after the Japanese-Americans were placed into internments camps during World War II. Their music was meant to represent Japanese tradition and freedom. It was a way to express how Japanese-Americans felt at that time. This album was made in 2008 and contains many Japanese lullaby's in them.
